We are seeking a Data Warehouse Manager to play a pivotal role in helping to build our Business Insights capabilities, including defining and implementing requirements for our company-wide data warehouse platform, management of integrations and prioritization of requests.
As our data warehouse expert you will be part of the IT team at Sila Services helping to improve our ERP and data warehouse environment and associated applications and build new ones. What You'll Do:
• Architect, Help to define and design our data warehouse for data ingestion and data delivery. Understand a broad range of data warehouse design approaches.
• Work Able to lead projects and mitigate risks. Design, develop, test, deploy and implement data warehouse software, policies and procedures. . Build scalable, reusable and maintainable solutions.
• Develop integration processes with different external platforms to extract data efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure optimal end user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment processes and associated action plans.
• Develop standards, process flows and tools that promote and facilitate the mapping of data sources, documenting interfaces and data movement across the enterprise.
• Define governance and best practices around metadata to ensure an integrated definition of data for enterprise information, and to ensure the accuracy, validity, reusability, and consistent definitions for common reference data.
Communicate effectively collaborate with the CIO and the IT team members, line of business managers, marketing, sales, customer service, HR, Finance and other business users to design, develop, test, document and implement data integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence solution.
What You'll Bring:
• B.S in Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 3- 5 years of data warehouse experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience working with ERP development
• 5 years of progressively increased responsibility within an IT team
• Strong understanding of database and data model concepts
• Solid understanding of ETL best practices, scalability, complex process management, self-healing, etc
• Experience building data migration integration solutions.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and Restful APIs
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, business analytics, role-based dashboards & reporting, data visualization and analysis
• Experience building data warehouse interfaces.
• Experience with Amazon Cloud Services
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Experience in working in a HVAC or related field a plus
