The Chief Controls Office is led by the Chief Controls Officer who reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer and indirectly to the first line accountable Executive Committee members. The Chief Controls Office aims to achieve a high level of consistency and quality in approach, standards, and methodology for non-financial risk and controls. The Chief Controls Office maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a customer-centric approach that aligns with each line of business, function, and region to mitigate operational risk. This position is a Reporting Analyst position within the Risk Processes organization of the Chief Controls Office.
The Risk Processes organization is accountable for the execution of first line risk. This includes, but is not limited to, Risk and Control Identification, RCSAs, Control Testing, Process Management, Process Improvement, Policy and Procedure Management, Issues Management, Control Monitoring, and Taxonomy. The Reporting Analyst will report directly to the Head of Risk Processes Chief of Staff. As a Reporting Analyst the individual must have the ability to take disparate pieces of data and find alignment. They must be able to assess, develop and maintain proper controls, robust documentation, and change management approach for all reporting areas – automated and manual. The candidate must also be able to stays current on new and evolving reporting requirements, assess impact and ensure compliance for accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker, able to multi-task, be available on a whim to help where needed, and be flexible in the approach needed situationally.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or 5 years of business analyst experience
  • Ability to add structure to chaos, add clarity to ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly and effectively
  • Basic understanding of Lean concepts
  • Intermediate research and analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Exceptional facilitation skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Highly influential
Preferred
  • Working knowledge of Analytical and Predictive Statistics
  • Development experience with Signavio, Tableau, Alteryx, Sharepoint, and/or Power BI Reporting
