Siloe Home Health has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and successful Home Health marketing professional, to strategize, develop and execute promotional objectives to support business growth.

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for creating, planning, and implementing marketing programs, which includes community education and advertising of the services offered by Siloe Home Health.

DUTIES/KNOWLEDGE

  • Development and promotion of home health programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care and maximizing human, financial and equipment resources.
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state, and federal laws relating to marketing of the agency.
  • Creates and executes community awareness activities which inform physicians, health care workers, and potential or current patients of agency services.
  • Obtains new home health referrals from physicians, and nursing home and hospital discharge planners.
  • Conducts hospital assessments prior to patient discharge and communicates findings to Director of Nursing.
  • Designs agency information and marketing materials and tools for use in community outreach.
  • Attends community business activities to gain exposure for the agency.
  • Establishes and meets growth related goals.
  • Communicates effectively before groups of potential clients, referral sources and employees of the organization.

Objective

A successful candidate in this role will facilitate and increase medical home care services in residential assisted living facilities, group homes, and private residences and establish a positive working relationship with physicians, discharge planners, and case managers.

Qualifications :

  • Two years experience in territory based marketing position (Healthcare market required)
  • Exceptional motivation and self-starting skill - outgoing personality a must
  • Proven success in generating new business from skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and physicians' offices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and personal commitment to excellence
  • Ability to understand and utilize resource tracking software
