Job Description
Position Summary:
Places focus on all designated Constellation brands with the purpose to grow volume, keep the brands top of mind to both the sales force and the trade, and to seek new distribution opportunities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a marketing plan for each of the brands at the beginning of the year, review with manager, and implement to ensure brand growth.
- Develop and manage cents per case budget for each brand to ensure dollar requirements are met during the calendar year, and result in growth in high end volume.
- Implement programs including but not limited to, POS, PPG, Trade spending and incentives.
- Develop a specific spending plan by account for each brand to ensure sampling with consumers.
- Attend and participate in sales meeting and communicate programs to sales force. Take initiative to attend Regional and Team Leadership meetings.
- Work with Team Leaders and On-Premise department to implement trade spending.
- Communicate with field mangers from Constellation to ensure the company is aligned with goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement a roll out plan for all new Constellation/Crown brands and packages.
- Manage close dated product in the warehouse and works with sales force to move close dated product, ensuring the consumer gets the freshest product available.
- Attend appropriate brand meetings and provide field input.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in beverage industry preferred.
- Intermediate computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the effective management and motivation of assigned employees and in accomplishing goals and objectives.
- Must handle alcohol and work within TABC guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
- Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds, unassisted.
- Must be able to pass Drug Screen and a Physical Performance Exam (PPE).
Working Conditions:
- All weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow.
- Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions.
- Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
- Work hours will vary daily due to business needs.
