**Job Summary:**
Water Street Lofts, a Luxury apartment community located in Newton, NJ is looking for a live in Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor would be trading part time work (minimum of 15 hours a week) in exchange for waived living expenses. the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for routine grounds and building maintenance, as well as fulfilling all repair service requests for residents and apartment make-ready orders.
**Duties:**
Grounds maintenance, snow removal, trash removal and cleaning
Institute and manage resident service requests and work orders, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible
Assess and repair issues including electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting, minor tile work, carpentry.
Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule
**Experience:**
2 years’ experience in building maintenance
Renovation experience required
Must be able to perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, dry-wall repair, and snow removal
Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, and work in progress items
Must be available to handle on-call emergency services on an as-needed basis
