Job Title: Warehouse Associate I
Pay Rate: $18.50/Hr.
Location: Glen Allen, VA
3rd Shift:
Sunday: 3:00pm - Until Finished (10-11 hour shift)
Monday – Thursday: 5:00pm - Until Finished (8-10 hour shift)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will be placed in the department the manager feels is appropriate so if the candidate is not willing to work in any department, they are not a fit for this site.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:
order fulfillment, stocking and replenishment, staging, and outbound shipping of customer orders. Performs related duties as assigned. MANUAL (BY HAND) PICKING
Ø If a fully automated, PkMS enabled environment, must be able to utilize the functions of the warehouse management system in order to perform daily tasks.
Ø Accurately fills orders verifying quantity, size, strength, and NDC numbers.
Ø Checks each order after the order picking process is complete to ensure the product is placed and packed appropriate to prevent damage during transit; repacks orders when necessary following quality standards and procedures.
Ø Carefully places merchandise containers on conveyors as requested, ensuring the route information is visible.
Ø Verifies totes, cases, and paperwork are accurate prior to delivery.
Ø Promptly retrieves merchandise from floors, shelves and from conveyor.
Ø Carefully and securely wraps breakable items in protective covering as requested.
Ø Assists with stocking shelves as requested.
Ø Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
Ø Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
Ø Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
Ø Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
Ø Have a good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent is desired. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience. Previous warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally is required. Must be able to read and understand English, have number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination. Exhibit a sense of urgency to ensure all deadlines are met. Computer knowledge is desirable.
