Why this role is important to us: Senior Accountants are finance professionals who ensure that business transactions are captured and booked accordingly. The Senior Accountant has a solid understanding of accounting practices and is responsible for booking according to global policies and local GAAP. A Senior Accountant will be assigned the more complex portion of the accounting duties. The areas of responsibility can vary from entity to entity depending and the composition of the team. Regardless of the specific duties assigned, the Senior Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely booking of transactions which are the basis of our internal and external reporting activities. They should possess excellent communication skills and should be able to handle the majority of their workload without a significant amount of direction.
