SimIS is currently recruiting for the below listed position and is contingent upon award. This is an onsite position with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement at the discretion of the Government.

Job Description: SimIS seeks an IT Infrastructure SME to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Unified Platform program office (UP). AFLMC/UP is responsible for developing and sustaining a cloud-based platform that enables cyber operations across the Department of Defense (DoD). UP provides USCYBERCOM Operational Forces a Joint cyber operations infrastructure enabling full spectrum cyberspace operations at the operational through tactical levels of warfare as part of USCYBERCOM’s Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA). The IT Infrastructure SME is responsible for the design and implementation of complex IT information systems (e.g, DevSecOps platforms).
Duty Requirements:
Responsible for the development of information systems by studying operations; designing, developing and installing cloud-based IT service software solutions; support and develop a software team.
Has ability to explain complex issues to others in a manner that facilitates informed decision making.
Oversees the technical requirements and the development of the conceptual and detailed design of the IT environment.
Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation such as charts and graphs to record and present results.
The SME is responsible for the collection and prioritization, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation of SW projects.
Experience Required:
Master’s Degree in Information Technology, cybersecurity or related field.
7 years’ experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native information systems
5 years of experience leading the design and development of DevOps/DevSecOps platforms.
Experience with modern software development processes (e.g., GitHub, DevOps) and AGILE development processes.
Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required/Desired:
CompTIA A Certification.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Prior experience working USCYBERCOM and or USAF Cyber is desired but not required.
Contract Specific Requirements:
Upon award, the contract will have a period of performance of a 12 month base year with 2 twelve month options for a total of 36 months.
