Overview:
The Simmons Bank Creative Manager is a brand steward who translates marketing strategy into compelling, performance-driving creative for use in all media. Our goal is build our brand consistently to achieve the best possible outcome visually and exceed customer expectations to drive our brand growth.
The Creative Manager reports to the SVP, Director of Digital Marketing & Design
Responsibilities:
- Bring vision and concepts to life through design and content development and execution.
- Think strategically about how to simplify communications with compelling graphics that generate leads and drive traffic.
- Collaborate with associates and agency partners to protect the integrity of Simmons Bank’s brand and design aesthetic by managing and stewarding brand guidelines.
- Develop a library of creative assets to build a consistent and cohesive visual brand.
- Source creative talent, both freelance and permanent, as needs arise (social media content creators, designers, art directors, photographers, videographers, etc).
- Remain current with design best practices, design tools and digital innovation.
- Inspire team to consistently push design and provide innovative ideas to help the brand evolve.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or a similar field with relevant portfolio of work demonstrating proven success leading the design of creative across various media.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a senior art director or creative manager/director in an agency setting
- Strong working knowledge of brand development, the creative process, and integrated marketing, including digital, video, print and broadcast.
- Ability to provide clear art direction and timely feedback to improve creative processes and keep deliverables on time and on budget.
- Composure in a fast-paced and frequently-changing environment with the patience to maintain clear communication when requests change.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
