What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Analyst position at Simmons & Kourtis?
Come join our team! We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Analyst. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing projects and activites related to current and upcoming construction jobs.
Duties Include:
* Issue purchase orders and variances for multi-family construction
* Prepare contracts and change orders to subcontractors and track until fully executed
* Accurately and completely complete vendor files (COI, W-9's, etc)
* Issue and obtain executed lein waivers for payments
* Weekly invoicing for intercompany job costs
* Light Estimating
* Perform clerical tasks for multi-family contruction team (scanning, data entry, utilities, etc)
* Other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, be a team player with strong organizational skills, self-starter with the ability to work independently, must be able to maintain a level of discretion at all times, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and NewStar, 24 months purchasing experience in construction preferred.
