SIMON | Mobile Crusher Operator

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a crushing plant to ensure efficient and safe production.

* Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies
* Observe safety procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly
* Ensure safe operation of plant and components; monitor plant output and make necessary adjustments in order to meet required production mix, quantities, and deadlines
* Run and control the operation of crushers and associated equipment to crush and process materials
* Monitor the operation of the crushing equipment and adjust settings to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and product quality
* Load and unload materials into and from crushers, ensuring proper feeding and flow of materials through the crushing process.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on crushing equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
* Inspect crushed materials for quality and ensure compliance with specifications
* Maintain records of production, equipment maintenance, and other relevant information
* Perform manual/physical tasks required in plant operation and maintenance activities
* Identify and resolve operational issues or malfunctions in a timely manner
* Communicate professionally with others in person, over the phone, and on company radio channels
* Complete other related projects/tasks as assigned

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* MSHA certification or ability to obtain certification required
* Valid drivers' license with ability to maintain a clean driving history required

* 5 or more years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of training/experience in a similar role
* Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of crushing equipment.
* Proficiency in operation of plant equipment; demonstrated knowledge of plant parts and components
* Proficiency with mobile devices and other technology used in daily operations
* Ability to read and interpret signage and/or written instructions (safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.)
* Ability to problem-solve and recommend solutions
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to interact professionally with others and clearly communicate information

* Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
* Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
* Regularly required to use hands to feel, handle, and manipulate objects
* Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)
* Regularly required to read and understand signage, labels, and written instructions
* Regularly required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* Regularly required to stand/work on feet for long periods, and walk across uneven terrain
* Occasionally exposed to working from high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock
* Mining environment; regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, airborne particles, fuel/chemicals, loud noise, moving equipment/parts, and vibration
* Work on the mobile plant requires the ability to travel extensively with overnight stays away from home for extended periods of time and a willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
