Essential Job Functions:
- Demonstrates competency in the performance of job related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
- Responsible for all payroll functions.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain payroll files
- Assist with keeping employee profile information accurate
- Assist with development and communication of policy and procedures related to payroll for risk management and upgrade efficiency.
- Monitor timecards for accuracy.
- Process incoming mail in a timely manner.
- Mange workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Process 401K, HSA and garnishment payments.
- Process manual checks.
- Organize invoices.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Knowledge of multi-State and Federal laws pertaining to payroll.
- All other duties assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED required (Degree in accounting or related field preferred) and at least 2 years of experience in the field.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
DRESS ATTIRE: Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department
