Job Responsibilities

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Direct interface with manufacturing and QC to resolve manufacturing issues and to identify areas where opportunities exist to implement improvements.
• Address internal and customer complaints by performing root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Generate quality plans and inspection plans to address specific customer requirements.
• Generate and maintain quality management procedures and instructions.
• Assist with addressing supplier quality issues as needed.
• Review and generate AS First Article Reports.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Three years experience in manufacturing environment preferably manufacturing of Circuit Card Assemblies.
• Two years experience working in a QC / QA role.
• Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Experience with AS First Article requirements.
• Experience in using root cause and corrective action using tools such as 8D, fishbone and 5 why.

SPECIAL TRAINING / SKILLS REQUIRED :

• Current or past J-STD- and / or IPC-A-. Trainer Certification a plus.
• Experience with Micro Vu Vision System or equivalent.
