Summary / Job Objective: The Annuity Sales Director is responsible for generating new accounts and supporting existing accounts of independent financial and insurance advisors. The position comprises of both outbound sales duties as well as supporting and contributing to the day-to-day efforts of the general annuity sales and annuity marketing team. Knowledge and Experience in Life Insurance, Annuity, and Financial Services in general is required, with expertise specifically in Annuities. The desire and drive to succeed in a competitive financial services setting is imperative.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Make proactive outbound sales calls to:
- Recruit annuity advisors
- Train financial & insurance advisors on annuity solutions and marketing programs
- Grow advisors’ books of business and general business activity at IMS
- Respond to inbound calls and emails regarding product solutions, case design, and consult
- Meet call activity expectations and monthly sales goals set forth by management
- Participate in continuous training
- Self-develop with industry and product knowledge to remain current with trends and products
- Keep abreast of the competition and changes in the economy and financial markets
- Understand and adhere to the Vision, Mission and Values of IMS Associates
- Represent IMS Associates in a professional manner at all times
- At least three years of experience in the financial services industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with accurate typing skills
- Some travel may be required
- College Degree Preferred or Equivalent Work Experience
- State insurance license required

- Effective prospecting and customer relationship skills
- Ability to ask probing questions to qualify and close business
- Persistent and flexible to overcome call reluctance

Compensation (Based On Experience)
- Annual base salary: $60,000
- Guaranteed Minimum Variable Compensation Year 1: $2,000/month
