Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our weight loss clinic in Creve Coeur. Our clinic specializes in Laser Lipo, Body Contouring, and Sculpting treatments, and we see 20-25 clients daily for these services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients throughout their treatment journey, setting them up on the machines, answering their questions, and ensuring they feel comfortable and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Assistance:

• Greet clients warmly and guide them through the clinic, ensuring they feel welcomed and at ease.
• Assist in setting up clients for body contouring treatments, including Laser Lipo and Sculpting sessions.
• Provide information about treatments and address any client concerns or questions with empathy and clarity.

Treatment Support:

• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each session, ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist practitioners in administering treatments as needed, following all safety and hygiene protocols.
• Monitor clients during their treatments to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Client Care and Communication:

• Foster a supportive and caring environment for clients, helping them feel motivated and positive about their treatment journey.
• Maintain open communication with clients, checking in with them throughout their visit to ensure their needs are met.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions and schedule follow-up appointments as required

Administrative Duties:

• Assist with front desk responsibilities as needed, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing client records.
• Handle client payments and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and ensure all documentation is up to date.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in a med spa or healthcare setting is advantageous but not required.
• Knowledge of body contouring treatments or a willingness to learn about them.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist clients with mobility as needed.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Weekly hours can be flexible except for Saturday hours.

Location: On-site at our clinic in Creve Coeur, MO.

Compensation: Pay: $16-$20 per hour, based on experience.
