We specifically work with small business owners who have the enormous task of purchasing the right type of insurance for their employees and their families. With more than 20,000 customers and several major partnerships including Intuit and Square, we're growing quickly and disrupting this convoluted and confusing industry by making it more transparent and fully accessible to everyone. We got our start in the Y-Combinator incubator, and have been funded by top-tier investors at Polaris Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, New York Life Ventures and AltaIR Capital. 

Job Summary

In this position you will lead an organization of team leads and individual contributors focused on onboarding and successfully enrolling our new customers via the SimplyInsured platform. You will be a strong thought partner, operator, and leader with our Director of Revenue Operations and a key voice in shaping the overall future of the department. You will be challenged to improve processes and solve root cause issues. You will hire, develop, and coach great talent for the organization in support of our mission. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Operations. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, hire, and coach an outstanding team of 10-15 personnel assigned to key revenue operations activities (onboarding, submissions, and supporting operations)
  • Drive conversion and enrollment metrics improvement to achieve high conversion of new business 
  • Drive process and conversion operations in broker of record business unit 
  • Act as a key stakeholder in improving operations with carriers and partners on revenue operations related activities 
  • Identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and work with senior operations leadership and cross-functionally to improve overall operations 
  • Develop process improvements and resources (carrier references, etc) to improve team capabilities 
  • Oversee and actively work to improve team training, quality, and ways of working 

What you’ll bring:

  • 3 Years of Management experience, teams of 10 preferred 
  • Adept at interpreting data to identify opportunities and issues 
  • Salesforce experience preferred 
  • Strong judgment and communication skills to solve problems end-to-end across stakeholders
  • Passionate about developing great individual team capabilities and culture

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000.

We have a market-based compensation structure. The salary for this position may vary based on a candidate's experience, industry expertise, technical skills, and location. The range provided is just one component of total compensation including, but not limited to bonus eligibility based upon the achievement of performance objectives and company stock options.
