Simpson University's Science & Mathematics Department is seeking candidates to join the adjunct instructor pool for the 2022-23 academic year. Currently, the department welcomes applications for instructors with the qualifications to teach courses in Engineering. Note that an appointment in one semester is not a guarantee of an appointment in a subsequent semester. The successful candidate will be able to:


  • Offer courses in electrical or mechanical engineering courses.
  • Deliver courses in-person at the Redding, CA campus.
  • Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content.
  • Work with a diverse student body population.
  • Express an effusive Christian faith based in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Minimum Qualifications: M.A. in Engineering or related field.
