Location: Dahlgren, VA Telework: NoneClearance: Interim - Secret (US Citizenship Required) Experience: SeniorNumber of Openings: 1Funding Status: FundedSalary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 (Please see below for more info on salary) Senior Systems Engineer SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for system engineers to work on a new and emerging Navy tactical system that integrates with the full suite of combat sensors. SimVentions is looking for engineers to be part of a team to support the US Navy focused on developing and modernizing Electronic Warfare Sensors and Systems. Responsibilities: • Provide system engineering and design for Naval EW sensors and systems • Responsible for applying engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies • Conducts requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and continuously validate those solutions through delivery • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints • Interact at the highest levels with client engineers and customers • Coordinate and technically consult with project engineers Required Skills & Experience: • 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience • Strong understanding in system engineering principles • Experience in requirements management and tracking • Strong research skills • Familiarity with Military Standards and Specifications Preferred Skills & Experience: • MBSE experience Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 (USD).
