Journeyman Unity3D Developer

We are looking for an experienced developer with proficiency in Unity3D, C#, and excellent communication and teaming skills to support a small Agile development team developing simulation software. This position is located on-site at our Dahlgren, VA office with some potential hybrid telework. Candidates will be asked to provide references and to provide examples during interviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce original code utilizing Unity3D and C#, as well as other SW development tools

  • Review and troubleshoot existing code

  • Provide brief, clear, focused code comments

  • Actively participate in daily Scrum activities

  • Utilize excellent communication skills to provide ideas and feedback to other developers, testers, and management in a professional manner


Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship is required to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance

  • At least five (5) years of experience with Unity3D and C# software development

  • Active Security cert

  • Ability to read Interface control documents and implement messaging between systems

  • Identify Friend Foe (IFF) knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to work on small development teams and contribute significantly. Candidates will be asked to provide references and to provide examples during interviews. Candidates with strong, consistent work histories will be given more consideration in the hiring process.

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or 7 years of proven experience working with the required and desired languages and tools.

Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ship is required to obtain a clearance.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $135,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
