About This Role
Sinch is seeking a Corporate Counsel in Sinch’s Legal Department as part of the North America region legal team reporting to the Head of Legal for North America.
In This Role, You Will
- Provide general legal support and guidance to NA sales team, including supporting existing and new customers across Sinch’s broad product and service portfolio
- Support Sinch’s customer and supplier contracting process by working with sales, procurement, and other people in relevant functional areas of expertise, which would include negotiating, drafting, and handling all legal contract issues and provisions and contract documents, including orders, master agreements, amendments, and related legal documentation
- Be responsible for contract compliance with Sinch’s policies and applicable laws
- Support data privacy and protection related issues in Sinch’s contracts and work with Sinch’s information security group and other Sinch employees, including relating to data protection agreements and information security documents proposed by customers and suppliers
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues and lead sales team to successful resolution of customer/supplier contracts, issues, and other matters
- Exercise considerable discretion and may serve as the primary legal contact for assigned customers
- Collaborate within the Sinch Legal Department and across business and staff functions to address legal and risk issues in a manner consistent with the best interests of Sinch
- Lead initiatives of varying scope and complexity
- Manage outside counsel and other service providers, as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Experience as a practicing attorney, including managing, reviewing, analyzing, negotiating and drafting sales and supplier/procurement contracts and legal issues relating to such contracts
- Experience working directly with clients and business and other non-legal personnel
- Experience working with technology industry clients
- 4-6 years of law practice experience or equivalent military legal experience
- Active state legal license/bar membership, strong preference for Georgia bar membership

- Experience with US telecommunications services contracts and/or regulations, preferred but not required
Job Expectations:
Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area location and in Atlanta office at least 2 to 3 days a week
