Job Description
KSNV has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant!
Job responsibilities include :
- Editing video for weekend morning news coverage which includes but not limited to video in house as well as video from various news organizations
- Collaborating with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements of newscasts
- Help capture live interviews in house with anchors, reporters during the morning newscasts during the week
- Meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment
Requirements and Qualifications :
- College degree or minimum relative experience in the field
- Knowledge of nonlinear editing technology, Avid Media Composer editing is a definite plus
- Knowledge of basic camera operations, experience with ENG Camera's a plus
