What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Service Technician position at Sinclair Milling?
Our Company is looking for a Diesel Service Technician to join our team.
Resonsibilities:
- properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by supervisor
- tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk
- make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management
- read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to resolve malfuntion and plan work procedures
- operate all equipment in shop
- use electrical test equipment and computer testing equipment
- replaces and/or adjust headlights, lighting systems ect. and installs and repairs accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors and windshield wipers
- rewires lighting systems, instrument panels, ect.
- communicate with supervisor to obtain needed parts
- diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair
- participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools & events
- assist in taking inventory as required
- relines and adjust brakes, aligns front end, repairs and/or replaces shock absorbers and other suspension parts.
