Senior Warehouse Manager

Overview

The Senior Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and/or supplies.
• Supports the organization's supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods.
• Tracks inventory by performing physical counts and verifying information against warehousing systems.
• Ensures warehouse operations comply with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution where applicable.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision may be provided through a team of associates, supervisors and/or managers.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience, including some prior management experience

Experience: In-depth understanding of the field's concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks and has some latitude for determining appropriate processes to follow. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
