Clinical Research Nurse | Full Time | Days - Cancer Center Grants

SRHS Cancer Center - Pascagoula | Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM

Position Overview
The Clinical Research Nurse is under the direct supervision of the Grants Program Director. This position coordinates the recruitment, registration and case management of research subjects in accordance with established protocol and in accordance with FDA guidelines for clinical trials, research study management and monitoring. Ensures adherence to hospital and departmental policies and to established nursing procedures, standards and practices.


Education
Associate’s degree in Nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred. Mississippi Nursing license.

Experience
One year experience in oncology nursing and/or research nursing. Clinical Research experience including recruitment of human subjects. Experience in data entry with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands
Must be able to travel when research requires it. Must be able to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time without experiencing undue fatigue; must have good vision and good hearing.
