Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
  • Prepare a diverse menu of high-quality food items, including appetizers, entrees, and snacks.
  • Ensure that all food items meet our standards for taste, presentation, and freshness.
Cooking Techniques:
  • Utilize various cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, and baking to achieve optimal results.
  • Follow established recipes while incorporating creativity and innovation.
Kitchen Operations:
  • Operate kitchen equipment with precision and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff and concession stand workers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Customer Interaction:
  • Engage with fans to take special orders or accommodate dietary preferences.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food items to patrons.
Compliance:
  • Adhere to all Sioux Falls Canaries stadium and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Strictly follow health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Navigate a busy kitchen environment.
