Social Media Coordinator

Position Summary: The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day community management of the company’s social properties and developing social media campaigns. The Social Media Coordinator will be an active participant in data collection and analyses to consistently improve the company’s social media practices over time.

Essential Functions:

• Create compelling content on all social platforms that attracts the attention of the target audience.
• Manage a high volume of social media communications, including comments and direct messages.
• Develop and implement effective social media strategies.
• Create and maintain a content calendar for scheduled posts across multiple platforms.
• Schedule social media posts.
• Monitors social media metrics and KPIs.
• Generate innovative ideas and campaign concepts.
• Collaborate effectively with the Marketing Team.
• Research new concepts and ideas and propose them to the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of social media platforms such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, TikTok, and others.
• Strong understanding of social media KPI and metrics.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks equally well.
• A creative thinker with an ability to think outside the box.
• Solid interpersonal and organizational skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Experience using various social media management software including Sprout Social.

• Experience with the use of Adobe Creative Suite- emphasis in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, for creating visual content.
• Basic photography and video editing skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or a related field.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
• Required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands.
• Close vision abilities are required.

Description of the Work Environment: This position is part of the Marketing department, and the work will take place within the Marketing department. This position will come in contact with many other employees within the facility and it is the expectation of the organization that we always maintain an attitude of dignity and respect when interacting with each other.
