Our dockside restaurant and private club offer innovative meals and cocktails, all cooked fresh in an outdoor open-air kitchen, where the kitchen staff work while enjoying views of the waterfront. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PREP COOK
In this entry-level food service position, you work in our kitchen, helping to prepare the ingredients we need. According to our projected sales, you wash, chop, saute, and store ingredients. As you complete each task, you closely follow our standards for quality. Additionally, you make sure to store everything properly according to food safety guidelines and first-in, first-out (FIFO) principles. When orders come in, you make food, following our recipes to the letter. You ensure that your workspace is clean throughout the day. You love making delicious meals and find satisfaction in improving your skills in the kitchen!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PREP COOK
- Positive and happy attitude
- Food handler's permit or the ability to acquire one
