What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Sirius Staffing?
We are looking for a weekend Building & Grounds Janitor/Custodian to take care of buildings and carry out cleaning, maintenance and other duties as needed for the Parks & Recreation department at Chester Frost Park in Hixson, TN.
Work Schedule Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon 7am – 5pm (4/10's)
Full Time, Contract Position, 5 days PTO accrued & 10 paid holidays on the calendar year
Responsibilities
- Performs day to day custodial acts for the common areas, (bathrooms and showers), possible light office work, etc.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Trash disposal, Recycling pick-up, and courier duties as needed
- Provide professional, courteous customer service for Park visitors
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds
- Able and willing to work in various weather conditions
