Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8a-4:45p

Requirements:

· Minimum: Associates Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Laboratory Science or related technical area with 3 years of experience.

· Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Laboratory Science or related technical area with 0 years of experience.

· Relevant experience in laboratory area (synthesis, application, development, or production).

· Experience in Business Line segment or industry experience preferred. Familiar with a variety of

· lab concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience/training and judgment to plan an

· accomplish duties.

· Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn a variety of computer software applications in word

· processing, database, and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) SAP or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, and performing synthesis, formulation, and experiments following given recipes/procedures.

· Application or Analytical evaluation of existing, developmental products and competitive products and technologies.

· Document test results, write status and study reports, and maintain electronic documentation.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace (work area, equipment, chemicals, MSDS).

· Suggest and implement Cost Savings and Process Improvement Ideas, Introduce new or improved production processes and procedures in cooperation with Production & Engineering.
