How you'll make an impact:
The Director of Technology & Product Finance role is a strategic and critical leader who will lead financial reporting and process transformation supporting the CPTO organization. In this role you will manage technology and product-related financial aspects of the execution of projects for Sirius XM and Pandora and all financial reporting duties. This role will also work in close collaboration with business leads and other financial leaders to execute these initiatives. Responsibilities include management of the development of business cases with the business, as well as finance team management. You will also provide day to day financial support to the greater business reporting to the Vice President of Technology & Product Finance.
What you'll do:
Management of the development of business cases and approval socialization
Lead the day-to-day financial support of the Technology and Product organization, reporting to the Vice President of Technology & Product Finance
Negotiate and influence cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained
Drive and maintain project work plans, track and report on progress to stakeholders
Facilitate and lead steering and functional leaders team meetings
Provide business case development capability
Facilitate and provide guidance in reviews designed to improve efficiency of processes, procedures and systems within the Finance function
What you'll need:
BA/BS required preferably in Finance
10 years of increasingly responsible positions within Finance / Accounting organizations
Deep experience in operational finance processes
Proven ability to manage teams & business support
Possess strong collaborative working practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong process improvement experience and demonstrated advanced planning and problem-solving capabilities
Be adaptable to change and constantly looking for ways to automate and improve process
Strong communication and presentation skills; can summarize and present conclusions in succinct manner
Ability to work closely with departments to develop understanding of operations
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects with minimum supervision
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
