Benefits Coordinator

Role Overview
The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Global Benefits department; provides administrative and clerical support, act as the day-to-day resource for employee inquiries, including health and welfare and retirement programs.

What You’ll Be Doing
25% Vendor Relations: Processes vendor invoices for payment, provides employment information to vendors to facilitate benefit coverage as well as commencement of retirement benefits. Responsible for first level escalation
20% Tracks and manages all new hire enrollments and life events. Ensures they are completed within the required time frames. Updates and maintains benefit materials and Sharepoint site.
20% Acts as a resource for employee questions and issues regarding the various benefit programs. Is responsible for monitoring and responding to employee and vendor inquiries from the benefit email box.
15% Oversee and administer the FMLA/Leave process by: communicating with employees; interfacing with the third party disability vendor and Payroll; keeping people leaders abreast of the status of their team’s leaves
10% Interface with Payroll department to: ensure proper payment of company matches; audit accuracy of 401k loan and deferral changes; confirm pay details for employees on leave of absence.
10% Assists with regulatory requirements such as annual ACA reporting and filing, SPD distribution, CMS disclosure and others
Global census/data gathering during renewals

Education and Certification Requirements
4 year bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or human resources
