Job Description:
Scrum Master PM tasks include:
1. Running 2 virtual scrum meetings (MFi and Accessory) - 4x a week.
2. Report major issues that cannot be resolved in scrum meetings to Primary Project Manager so that this can be included in Scrum of Scrum meeting (1x week).
3. Keeping a pulse on daily slack chats between the cross functional teams, in case coordination effort is needed or scrum needs to be updated with additional tasks.
4. Adhere to the program's release process and enforce teams to follow the process.
5. Send out release status communications to impacted stakeholders (coordinating with primary PM and business stakeholders).
Additional tasks that are expected with each release:
A. Run frequent reports on statuses of sprint to ensure work is not behind schedule.
B. Send scheduled reminders and adjust email reminders (if needed).
C. Escalate issues to best of their judgement to dev leads, QA leads, management & PMO of any major blocking issues that require multiple teams' support.
D. Act as the bug facilitator between development, QA and stakeholders during UAT.
Expectations of the candidate are:
Candidate must feel comfortable being the liaison between Dev, Qa and Operations groups and enable/encourage teams to be self reliant; set expectations for team members to surface or articulate concerns/issues.
Comfortable facilitating calls by setting boundaries and rules of engagement between cross functional teams.
Responsible for managing impediments, managing the release process, checking on team's morale.
Determine responsibility among team members by role, include appropriate roles when needed to address issues.
Good communicator and able to take concise notes or articulate issues to people of different backgrounds in meetings.
Help business navigate process for submission of bugs/stories/queries/scope changes.
Provide insight to primary project manager, Dev and QA management to improve or enhance the sprint process.

Assists primary project manager in executing planned scope for monthly sprint releases (from development to release), tracking development of features and bug fixes, and leading a team to resolve blocking issues.
