Reliability Engineer

Sisecam Wyoming is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead the continuous reliability improvement efforts for equipment and systems by providing technical guidance and support to Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Optimize and improve reliability of machine systems, increase installation standards, and reduce life cycle costs.
• Establish and maintain a process for continuous improvement and efficiency in the unit cost and reliable operation of the manufacturing plan through application of reliability-based tools.
• Function as a liaison between the Mine and Surface Operations in order to communicate and champion reliability best practices and develop reliability-based cultures.
• Implement long-term strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of maintenance activities, maintenance standards, reliability, equipment integrity and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Diagnose mechanical reliability problems and design and/or provide solutions that solve and eliminate failures.
• Conduct root cause failure analyses.

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes while focusing on safety and best practices. 
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
• Travel: Less than 10%

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Five or more years of experience as a mechanical and/or reliability engineer in a refinery or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proactive commitment to safety.
• Demonstrated excellent written & verbal communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results oriented and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization.
