2nd Shift Warehouse - Monday - Friday 3PM-11PM

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB

Receives and puts up stock, pulls out stock per customer work orders, packages orders properly for shipment.

JOB ACTIVITIES

Essential Functions

1. Works shipping orders:
a. Reads order.
b. Reads tape measure and calipers; uses tape measure and calipers to measure material.
c. Climbs on material to locate and pull material for loading.
d. Bends and stoops to handle chains, slings, spreader bars and/or any other material handling equipment needed to work shipping orders.
e. Bends to floor level to locate and pull material for loading.
f. Records accurately all Quality Assurance information.
g. Reads color charts accurately to determine thickness and/or composition of material.
h. Lifts 45 pounds, on a frequent basis.

2. Loads the worked shipping orders onto delivery trucks:
a. Climbs on trucks to position material properly on truck.
b. Verifies that material loaded on truck corresponds to the work order.

3. Unloads material from railcars and trucks for inventory:
a. Climbs into railcar and on truck; includes climbing on the material as needed.
b. Lifts, bends and stoops to handle chains, slings, spreader bars and/or any other material handling equipment used to unload material.

4. Records accurately all Quality Assurance information on inbound material.

5. Places inbound material into the proper storage locations in the warehouse.

6. Operates overhead and gantry cranes safely with either remote control or push button control box.

Non-Essential Functions

1. Demonstrates ability and responsibility to perform other duties assigned by the foreman as necessary to complete the shift.

2. Cleans and polices assigned work areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.07 - $21.92 per hour
