needs, and partner with others to meet those needs using any work of mercy within their
power. They serve the dear neighbor no matter who they are;tear down walls that divide and
build bridges that unite; and adapt to the needs of the times. Long standing and new ministries
continue to evolve in areas like education, health care, social services, spiritual formation and
more.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Clinical Director performs within the framework of the Person-Centered Care Philosophy &
Goals of Regina Residence as well as through the mission of the St. Joseph Center. The Clinical
Director provides oversight, support, and coordination of all medical, dental, vision and
personal care needs for the Sisters/residents we serve. Supervision of nursing staff is a key
component of this position. In addition, the Clinical Director seeks to provide and promote care
which is in line with the Person-Centered Care philosophy, as well as rooted in the mission and
charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange.

- Provides direct oversight, support, and coordination of all medical, dental, vision and
- Coordinates care needs for Sisters residing outside of Regina Residence who may have an
- Provides direct oversight and supervision of Team Leaders (RN’s, LVN’s), CNAs, and the Staff
- Provides oversight, support, and coordination of the medication management program. This
medication education with the house pharmacy, and assistance with medication orders as
well as the monthly medication cycle.
- In direct consultation with the resident, nursing care team and the interdisciplinary team,
that the individual care needs of the resident are being met and are in line with the personcentered care philosophy.
- The Clinical Director is the primary clinical point of contact with ancillary care services, CSJ
- Responsible for on-call coverage of Regina Residence as needed and as determined by the
- Flexibility with time is required to meet the needs of the residents and support of the care
Position Qualifications:
- Required: Current California RN License; BLS; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting is strongly
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing setting and/or assisted living
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in caring for individuals with dementia and dementia
- Experience in working within a religious community/and or with women religious is
