As the HR and Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office and HR operational functions. You will support a growing number of employees delivering world-class software for robots used in making movies, knife sharpening, and other industrial automation applications. This is a full-time onsite position.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Manage the daily operations of the office.
- Keep track of office supplies and other office inventory, replenishing items when necessary to ensure the office is well-stocked and operational.
- Plan and execute special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR, benefits, and office management.
- Ensure the accuracy and updating of employee records, including payroll, maintaining confidentiality of all employee and payroll records.
- Validate that time records are accurate and submitted on time.
- Coordinate recruiting processes and activities.
- Assist in onboarding new hires by sending employee correspondence with employee handbook, employment documents, and benefits information.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years of relevant Human Resources and/or Office Administration experience
- Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Discretion and respect for handling confidential employee information.
- Time management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of employee relations, procedures, and applicable laws.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- General knowledge of state, local, and federal employment lays, procedures, federal wages
- Basic certification (SHRM-CP, HRCI-PHR, or similar)
