Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable, competitive, and motivated Kennel Technician who is eager to become the best version of themselves. • Supervise and manage dogs in our care, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kennels and related facilities by conducting regular cleaning and disinfecting routines.
• Feed, water, and administer medications as required, following specific dietary and health care instructions.
• Lead dogs in structured play and potty breaks three times daily.
• Monitor dogs for health concerns and report any behavioral or health changes to the management.
• Assist in training sessions and learn dog training techniques to support progression in the role.
• Work collaboratively with trainers and other staff to ensure a cohesive environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of canine behavior and comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Strong Technological Skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be flexible with scheduling, able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
