Shift : 1st, (7am-3 : 30pm)

Pay : $85-$90k / Yr. (Based on Experience)

Job Description :

Issue purchase orders for assigned products and services, negotiate pricing and ensure supplier compliance, especially delivery dates and quantity / quality;

resolve invoice discrepancies.

• Identify new and current key suppliers to include dual sourcing opportunities for critical long lead-time parts.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to secure the best price, service, quality and delivery.
• Drive cost reduction and cost avoidance opportunities; participate in cost reduction projects.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to minimize costs while ensuring a high level of service; proactively avoid material shortages.
• Manage supplier performance; ensure suppliers are performing at an acceptable level and participate in Supplier Team Audits and site visits.
• Work closely with Supplier Quality to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services to determine the source of trouble and take corrective action to minimize impact on production.
