SITECH Metro Northeast is HIRING IMMEDIATELY for a Software & Site Positioning Specialist to service the lower 13 counties of New York and the state of Connecticut!
Pay: $75,000-100,000/yr.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm; overtime availability required

Key qualifications:
- AAS in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering required
- 4 years experience in land or construction surveying
- Clean & valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills
- Territory: southern New York & Connecticut state
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Software & Site Positioning Specialist is responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide training in Heavy Civil Construction Software applications and Site Positioning Systems
- Achieve and maintain factory certification as a Trimble Certified
- Trainer for Business Center software as well as SCS900 software
- Provide technical assistance for all software and site positioning products
- Become and remain a technical expert/resource for SITECH and its customers
- Provide support for in-house and field service personnel on all guidance and software products
- Provide one-on-one customer training sessions for Software and Site Positioning Systems upon delivery of new product to customers
- Attend and actively participate in all Open House events and trade show events
- Collaborate with CAT Dealer Sales Reps to develop relationships
The Software & Site Positioning Specialist position is a unique and dynamic 100% on-road position assisting our customers with their Trimble GPS and site positioning technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of associate’s degree required, or the experience equivalent in Surveying and Survey Technology or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of field experience in construction surveying required
- Clean & valid driver's license required (this is a 100% field/road position)
- Must be proficient in the application of 2D and 3D Guidance technology
- Must be able to effectively document activities on customer work orders
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply knowledge, convey written information, and communicate in a relatable way to others
- Basic proficiency using PC-based applications (iOS where applicable)
