Sitemap.io is a fast-growing growth marketing agency working with B2B Technology brands across the country. As a Web Designer for Sitemap, your work will be instrumental to our clients’ success.
At Sitemap, we seek team members who excel at strategic thinking and are eager to apply their areas of expertise to a growing and innovative tech space. The Web Designer must be an expert designer and communicator who will work with our multi-disciplinary marketing and content team to produce high-level creative for our clients and will work directly with our clients to understand their goals, communicate design objectives, and present design work.
Core Responsibilities
- Understand clients’ short and long-term company goals and collaborate with the campaign’s marketing strategists to ensure all creative graphic elements produced advance the campaign goals
- Develop creative design solutions to meet clients’ marketing and sales objectives
- Design websites, digital ads, infographics, and other sundry marketing materials
- Present work to Sitemap leadership and communicate project objectives and solutions
- Communicate with clients to discuss their project goals and present work
- Manage related tasks in project management software
Qualifications
The Web Designer must have demonstrated excellent design, problem-solving, and communication skills. You should have some experience in print, multimedia, and website design, including a familiarity with the tools and language used in these projects.
Specific requirements include the following:
- Experience and expertise in team management
- Commitment and demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines and managing project calendars
- Extreme attention to detail and organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, internally and with clients
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Sketch, Figma, and/or other UX/UI design tools
- Self-driven and dedicated to learning, improving company processes, and contributing to the growth of the team
- Flexibility to solve problems quickly and effectively
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in a graphic design role, preferably within a digital marketing or advertising agency
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JS, and web design best practices is a plus
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including digital and print
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Experience with motion graphics software
- Familiarity with branding practices and corporate identity design
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills
Compensation & Additional Information
- Part-time position, 20 hours a week
- 3 days per week, in-office from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Salary $40,000 (based on $80,000/year full-time)
