The dedicated Fleet Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all company-owned equipment, attachments, and trucks are maintained at adequate levels needed to meet production/distribution demand.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to oil changes, diagnostics and evaluation of mechanical problems, maintenance and upkeep of the shop area, parts ordering/organization, and the recording of maintenance tasks performed. 

What you’ll do:

• Perform services and repairs to company-owned equipment and vehicles, such as diesel engine trucks, skid steers, and forklifts, in a safe and appropriate manner. 
• Coordinate or outsource larger repairs as needed.
• Complete paperwork pertaining to maintenance of equipment and vehicles in a timely fashion.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine preventative maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Research, order, and maintain parts inventory (belts, hoses, etc.) for services and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of mechanic bays and represent SiteOne in a professional manner at all times.

Estimated Salary:

• Up to $34.00 per hour plus overtime

Sign-On Bonus:

• $5,000, payable within your first 3 weeks of hire!*

• Experience with diagnostics and repairs on diesel engine trucks, skid steers, and forklifts preferred 
• Ability to work independently with limited direction
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines and achieve desired goals
• Welding Certification is a plus but not required
• Must be capable of lifting up to 65 lbs
• Must be willing to bring your own tools
• Must have valid Driver’s License
