Safety Manager

SITEX Safety & Rescue is actively seeking qualified Safety Professionals who are familiar and comfortable with project-based construction work at oil refineries, terminals, pipelines, power plants, steel mills, chemical plants, as well as many other facilities. Under the direction of the Operations/Safety Management team, the Safety Coordinator will be responsible for providing support in various safety roles for a variety of construction and other projects. An OSHA 30 Certification as well as 3 years of safety experience is a requirement for consideration. Certifications such as OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP are not required but are a plus. Applicants will be expected to perform job duties such as:

· Provide general safety oversight for all assigned projects.

· Conduct daily safety meetings.

· Report, investigate, and document incidents, injuries, and near misses.

· Enforce all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations.

· Conduct and coordinate orientation and training for new and existing employees.

· Develop and maintain good relationships as well as communication with clients, the facility, and field personnel.

· Maintain all necessary safety records and documents.

· Recognize and mitigate safety hazards.

· Participate in Job Hazard Analysis.

· Develop and maintain Site Safety Plans depending on work scope.

· Case Management.

· Other duties as required by the client.

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum OSHA 30 hour certificate

· Health and Safety field experience - 3 years

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Valid Driver’s License

· Good physical condition

· Available for travel

· TWIC (preferred)

· First Aid/CPR/AED (preferred)
