This busy family has 1 child: 3-year-old boy. Child is in school from 8am-3:30pm. Household Management duties are to be done while he is in school. Child has allergies to: dairy, eggs, tree nuts and dogs. Nanny must feel comfortable working with someone with food allergies and comfortable using an epi-pen. Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get it if hired. Family follows Montessori principles.
Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, meal preparation for child's lunch and for dinner, run occasional errands, pick up child from school, take to/from after-school activities, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with child, take to nearby parks, library, playgrounds, etc., read books, do arts and crafts, teach letters, numbers and colors, etc., and evening routine with child on later evenings (bath, pajamas, bedtime, etc.).
This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.
Work days and hours:
Monday-Friday: 12pm-7/9pm
Start time will always be 12pm. However, end time will vary a bit week to week--typically between the hours of 7-9pm. The hours will always be 40/week, so if nanny works late one day, they will get out early another day. Family would love nanny to travel with them about twice per year--one domestic trip (varies) and one international trip (typically Europe).
