Sizemore, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Certified Welder Fabricator in Edgefield, SC.

True temp-to-perm opportunity at 90 days!

Starting Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Schedule: 1st shift

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Startup and shutdown welding machines and fixtures, knowing the location of breakers boxes and power switches and have the ability to operate.
• Interpret and comprehend engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Using overhead cranes and obtain radiators from storage area and transfer them to the lifting eye station.
• Fabricate metal components using various tools, such as grinders, shears and saws.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure they meet company and industry standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years old
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator or similar role in metal fabrication
• Strong welding skills including MIG, TIG and arc welding techniques
• Good reading and math skills
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a welding and fabrication environment
• Able to pass a welding-practical test as part of interview process
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to stand, walk and bend for duration of shift
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 100lbs Manufacturing/Production Environment
