Description
Job Summary : The overall objective of this position isto support the individual needs of the people with disabilities served whether in directly operated group homes, supported living arrangements or through in-home support.
Services provided should result in safenormalizing situations for individuals where self-direction, integration into the community and the development of independent daily living skills are integral and continuous aspect of everyday life.
- Monitors and evaluates all aspects of assigned program operations to ensure quality of service for all involvedparticipants;
- establishes the staffing patterns and schedules ensures that residences are maintained safely and cleanly and in accordance with the applicable regulations;
performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree as regulations requires per state.
- One or more years related experience working with persons with disabilities;
- Valid health certificate that meets the requirements for the jurisdiction(s) in which the employee works;
- Experience with on-site programs preferred;
- Valid local driver's license with good driving record;
- Reliable means of transportation;
- Or equivalent technical training, education, and / or experience.
Physical and Environmental Conditions :
Work requires no unusual demand for physical effort.
Long and extended hours and travel required.
