As our Business Systems Analyst, you will serve as a member of the Information Systems team reporting directly to our CIO. Your primary role will be to help the fast-growing Engineered Product Division by assessing aspects of our daily business processes and technology tools. You will examine existing and new systems for improvement, report common issues, evaluate company performance, and own driving new system procedures and tools. This position is an onsite position and may work out of our Plymouth, MN or Ashland, OH location.
The job:
Every day, your primary role will be to assess company performance, information, and plans by conducting regular tests and analysis, monitoring company systems status and reporting progress and changes. You will research, recommend, and facilitate updates or implementations to improve performance requirements. You will develop, write, and communicate functional specifications for implementations of business solutions, and maintain technology policies, standards, and procedures. You will conduct Business Review Meetings. Initially, the focus will be on configuration (Configure, Quote, Order) processes as well as various daily reports to help guide data driven decisions. Upon mastering the initial space, we will explore expanding the role further into the customer processes and technologies across the Engineered Product Division. Think of this role as dual reporting into our Chief Information Officer and our President of Engineered Products Operations. Additionally, you will be heavily involved in growth through acquisitions.

To succeed in this role, you must have an in-depth knowledge of business processes and business system analysis techniques and have a highly analytical mindset. You must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to build a strong partnership with business process owners for each supported area. You must be driven, dedicated, and thrive to become a major change agent in our organization. A 4-year degree and 3-5 years of experience in Business, Computer Science or related field is required.
