What you will do:

As our Plant Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading the day-to-day operations for a multiple shift and department production team at our Detroit Lakes, MN manufacturing facility. To achieve your goals, you will provide positive leadership and oversight of Standard Products production in accordance with corporate objectives to assure maximum efficiency of personnel, facilities, capital, and equipment to produce our products that help control and monitor one of the world’s most valuable and limited resources– Water! This position works in Detroit Lakes, MN.
The job:
Every day, your primary role will be to create Unity through positive leadership and support of the Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing Engineers and Facility/Maintenance Teams. You will promote Humility by encouraging and empowering team members to work together to meet production goals. You will have the Agility to make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement and will Drive our Lean Operating System methodology throughout Production and key areas. You will take Ownership of plant operational metrics, budget, safety, and quality to ensure they are being met.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience effectively managing production, maintenance, and support employees. You must have experience with process optimization, managing profit and loss of plant operations as well as managing Lean training and use of Lean tools in day-to-day operations. A 4-year degree and 10 years of experience leading a production team is preferred.
