SK Food Group is seeking an EDI Analyst I who will be responsible for coordinating and creating partner setups, and day to day maintenance of EDI transactions. This position may also be part of larger team project initiatives, and company growth and expansion initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Function as technical liaison with technical contacts at trading partner and other organizations/distributors.
- Work on multiple concurrent partner implementations at one time.
- Work closely with the ERP/EDI SME to ensure proper mapping of documents coming in or out of the system.
- Initiate EDI setup documentation.
- Monitor and review EDI activity for failures and repair accordingly.
- Develop and maintain data transmissions using either True Commerce or Liaison.
- Proactively communicate with internal business/department stake holders on progress of new and ongoing EDI projects.
- Create and automate scheduled processes.
- Participate in project teams to provide input regarding EDI/e-commerce.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) with an emphasis on Computer Information, Business Systems or Supply Chain from an accredited college or university, or 0-3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exposure to business applications such as ERP, TMS, WMS, Sales and Financial applications and Sage X3 preferred.
- Ability to develop understanding of EDI retail and transportation transaction sets (846,850, 855, 810, 856, 860, 204, 214, 990 997, etc.).
- Great customer service skills.
