What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Battery Technician position at SK Industries, LLC?
SK Industries is a small but expanding company located in the Western Suburbs that specializes in reconditioning forklift batteries for resale and prepping scrap for recycling. We are looking for a motivated employee that is interested in growth opportunities. The shift is Tuesday to Saturday 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
**Rate of pay will be commensurate with experience
**On-site training
Seeking and individual that meets the following criteria:
- Must have High School diploma or GED
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Basic computer skills required
- Adept at operating a forklift
- Mechanical / Electrical knowledge preferred
- Ability to clean corrosion from batteries and paint with precision
- Fill out necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Ability to work efficiently with large equipment in a small area!
- Ability to test batteries using and AMP meter and Volt meter
- Palletizing, Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
- Must be conscientious - keep work area clean and organized!
- Must be observant and able to work autonomously
- Strong teamwork ethic - no job too big or too small - pitch in!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
