Security Officer (Armed or Unarmed)

Job Summary:

SK Security is a reputable security guard company dedicated to providing top-quality protection and peace of mind to our clients. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Unarmed Officers. As an Unarmed Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, assets, and personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional and vigilant presence while observing, reporting, and deterring any suspicious activities. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of alertness and attention to detail while patrolling assigned areas on foot or by vehicle, ensuring the safety and security of the premises.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security vulnerabilities, such as unlocked doors, broken windows, or malfunctioning equipment, and report findings to the appropriate authorities.
• Respond to and resolve non-violent incidents, such as disturbances, unauthorized individuals, or policy violations, using appropriate conflict resolution techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients, employees, and visitors with general inquiries, directions, or other relevant information.
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports on security-related incidents, observations, and activities, ensuring timely submission to the supervisor or appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate effectively with law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and other emergency services when required.
• Stay updated on the company's policies, procedures, and security protocols to maintain a high standard of professionalism and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge of security practices, emergency response procedures, and self-defense techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant certifications or training will be considered a plus).
• Strong observation skills with the ability to quickly assess situations and respond appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, employees, and visitors.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities to handle security-related incidents effectively.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and accountability.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods, as well as the capacity to lift moderate weights if required.
• Proficiency in using security equipment, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if the job requires vehicle patrols).
• No Felony Offenses.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
